Well, Thanksgiving is now behind us which means Christmas is right around the corner!!

Did you make it through Black Friday? I did…I stayed in the comfort of my home surrounded by my “babies” (4-legged critters), and my husband and I just relaxed and enjoyed the day! I think to myself, who in their right mind would want to get out the Friday after Thanksgiving amidst all the pushing, shoving, and grabbing…and for what? There is not one single thing that I can think of I would be willing to either get up at 2 am or “camp out” all night in front of a store for…..but apparently many people have that “itch” they must scratch!! And retailers count on the “itch” to start their Christmas season off with a bang! To all you Black Friday shoppers, hope you had a great time and made it home with no bruises on anything but your nerves.

Kramer of Seinfeld a Racist?

Okay, I’ll admit it…I must be one of the only people in America that was not a “Seinfeld” fan! Just wasn’t my “cup of tea” and I could take it or leave it….never felt I had to rush home and take my phone off of the hook because Seinfeld was on and I didn’t want to be disturbed!

So, since 1998 we have had the Seinfeld reruns….ohh yahoo! But what about Michael Richards…better known as “Kramer” since that time? You would think with such a “hit series” and his infamous role he would be doing well…right!? Wrong….

So now we are to “current day” where he was doing a stand up comedy routine at the “Laugh Factor” in California. Okay, he was “heckled” from the audience with comments like “you are not funny”….! Was that wrong, well, technichally, in my opinion, if you do not like an act you just get up and leave..but that is not what happened! BUT, because of that, did he have any right to unleash such horrible rants that the audience began getting up and leaving…then himself “storming off stage” without so much as a look back?

Although I am sick to death of “pc” this and “pc” that….his remarks and comments were way over the line…very rude and crude!! Should his apology (most likely due to pressure from Seinfeld himself) be accepted? Not so fast, I say!! Sometimes we have to realize that there are consequences to our actions and must suffer those consequences!!

He says he is not a racist………….but in a moment of blind rage when all senses seem to fail you…it appears what spouts out of your mouth, with no hesitation, is clearly how you feel deep down!! And he didn’t just spout a comment or two..then regain his composure and apologize immediately, he went on his rant for TWO solid minutes, which is quite a long time in the scheme of what he was doing!! In fact, enough time for the audience to be revolted by his actions and begin leaving!!

So, will Richards suffer any consequences….I believe he will, and rightly so! I think that producers will have a “hands off” approach to him as these remarks will not be easily forgiven or forgotten by the general public…and people will boycott anything he will be in! Remember the infamous Dixie Chicks…????

Richards is also slated to be the voice of “Ace” in an upcoming animation called “Cat Tale” which is currently in pre-production for release in 2008. Will they keep him now? We will watch and see!

My big question is WHY do these “celebrities” think it is okay to rant/rave on stage as their “platform” when they get pissed off? We had the Dixie Chicks, Barbara Streisand, etc! Who in the hell do they think they are anyway!? And then THEY have the nerve to not understand why people get upset, boycott them, or call them to task on their attitudes!! They all need to get off the “pedestal” they have placed themselves on and join the “real world”!!

The NEW BREED of Democrat - Part Two

Well folks, we have recently discussed the “Democrats of Old”, the Blue Dogs, and the Yellow Dogs. But now….grab a drink, a cigarette, sit back and be prepared to be SHOCKED at the NEW BREED of Democrat that appears to be “coming out of the closet” and rearing its ugly head across our country…….

I refer to this New Breed as “Far Left Liberal/Leaning Democrats” or FLLDs. We know many of them already and they will be of no surprise: Pelosi, Kerry, Murtha, Kennedy, Boxer, Clinton, Reid, Schumer, etc along with others such as Dean, Sheehan, and Jackson. What do these people and those like Lieberman, Miller, Barrow, Ford, etc. have in common….they are all called Democrats!! But that is the only commonality between the Democrat of Old and the FLLD.

FLLDs are usually in the social progressive category believing that with the passage of time so should social “values” go versus any traditional values that, by the way, our country was built on. This includes, but is not limited to, values in marriage, the family and gender roles feeling that the “greater good of society” is benefited if the people who wish to engage in any “untraditional” values and/or life styles, such as same sex marriages, are allowed to do so. They also seem to believe that the minority should over rule the majority in traditional values.

FLLDs also have a tendency to be anti-military, making them not a good “fit” for our national defense and security. They are usually pro ILLEGAL immigration feeling that our countries borders should be “open” to all who want to enter regardless of whether the laws have been followed. Well…I’m feeling safe and secure now..aren’t you??

FLLDs are also very big into “class warfare” always attempting to pit “rich vs. poor” or the “haves vs. the have nots” and most do not realize that these class warfare advocates are some of the richest people in America!! Instead of encouraging the growth of America by encouraging its citizens to succeed, their attempts at class warfare is to hold people back so that they will depend on the government for their needs!

These FLLD politicians are supported by groups like Moveon.org, Democracy for America, Progressive Democrats for America and so on.

BUT BEWARE……………………………………………

Although we all know those “famous” ones in the spotlight, there is another group of FLLDs that could be more dangerous to our country because they are in the shadows and background. These are the group of “activists” that share the same social progressive ideals and are in our college campuses attempting to screw with the minds of our young people, in our work place where they have become emboldened flaunting their gay life style and daring anyone to say anything, and now they are slowing attempting to take over the Democratic Party.

This “take over” was apparently invented by Howard Dean and is being promoted on the Democracy for America web site, which is run by Howard Dean’s brother. Their goal:

They even have training and schools and part of their curriculum tells their “followers” to: “volunteer in a management position, work with the Democratic Party/”Crashing” the Democratic Party/Taking Over the Democratic Party. “

This is apparently happening all over the country. In our local area, the Democratic County Chair is being maligned by a group of “Actives” whose goal is to take over the Democratic County Party. Now, they will vehemently deny this, but the facts that have emerged speak differently. They have technically “stolen” the exact web site for the County Party changing the name only by adding the word “Active” in the title, and have selected a web site with the EXACT name of the County Party but using .org vs. .com. No where on this web site does it state that they are NOT affiliated with the County Democratic Party which would lead a young person or a new comer to the area to think they are the “official” county party!! This is deceptive, in my opinion, and shows the morals, or lack thereof, of these types of FLLDs!!

You will also be able to tell one of these FLLDs by the way they talk and write, especially in e-mails and/or on message boards. They are usually very angry people and become very defensive if someone is in disagreement with them. They start by attempting the “screaming” tactics…usually large bold letters…and when that doesn’t work they begin with the name calling that we all know so well……neocon, racist, dumb ass..and the list goes on and on and on!! It does get quit funny actually to attempt a debate with these people because the more you show them the “error” of their ways, the madder they get!! It can definitely be a comic relief at times….they start screaming (forgetting you cannot hear them) and ranting and raving…you can picture them pulling their hair, beating their chests and sometimes I think I feel our house shaking due to their jumping up and down like a madman!!

There have also been, in the past, political activists/columnists who have stated that the Blue Dogs should “put their organization to sleep” and “How much more must the Blue Dogs see to comprehend that the time for equivocation and compromise has gone and the time for a resolute stance on Democratic values has arrived?”

My question is what values is he talking about? The values of the FLLDs? Those are certainly not the values of a true Blue Dog, Yellow Dog or Democrat of Old nor of the majority of Americans!!

We must, as republicans, independents and democrats come together to fight this type of Far Left Liberal/Leaning Democrat take over of the Democratic Party and of our Country. FLLD rhetoric must be countered and we must stand together least we begin falling like dominoes.

It pains and disgusts me to see how some, even those in power, have treated the men and women of our military! From Kerry insinuating that our soldiers are uneducated, to Murtha stating our military is "broken", to the soon to be Speaker of the House stating that the war in which our men and women are serving in is a "situation"!

We then have those incompetent civilians that have absolutely NO CLUE as to what service to this country is all about...they are so radical left and so full of vile and hate they cannot even speak without spewing filth. It almost reminds you of the "Jane Fonda and John Kerry" days in which our military and our country was constantly being attacked from within by Its own citizens!

Below is a left wing "nut" that spews disdain for our military:

"For when Bush opens his mouth, clotted bits of corpseflesh tumble out; when he walks, he wades through pools of human blood. ....come all the war profiteers who fill their bank vaults with hacked limbs, blown guts, crushed heads..."

This same person states the following to one of our soldiers who responded to his vile:

"I recognize beingstupid enough to join the military demonstrates a lack of imagination andintelligence, but surely you could come up with something original.I don't live the american dream. I just try to survive it. Kill any babies, lately, G.I. Joe? Still hungering to remove limbs from more children? Maybe drop clusterbombs or depleted uranium on more
village."

The NEW BREED of Democrat - Part One

It appears that there is a new “breed” of Democrat that is beginning to show its ugly head. This new “breed” is unlike what we have ever seen before and their goal is simple, to infiltrate and take over the Democratic Party of “old” and the Blue Dog Democrats!! I refer to this new “breed” as FLLDs…Far Left Liberal Democrats! Please do not confuse them with the typical moderate Democrat of old, those Democrats that are true patriots and true heroes in America today.

I was compelled to write this article due to some circumstances surrounding a FLLD take over in some rural areas of my state, and most likely, this is occurring across the country and no one is the wiser. Part One of this article will deal FIRST with the Blue Dog Democrat and the Democrat of Old…………………

Although it may be hard to fathom when you hear the word “Democrat”, Blue Dog Democrats are generally social and economic conservatives and act as centrists (or middle-man) in the Democratic Party, able to work with Republicans to help bring about change. Most Blue Dog Democrats are supporters of the Amendment II of our Constitution in the right to bear arms, are pro-life supporters, and many are against illegal immigration. They almost sound Republican, huh? Well, there are some differences such as how to deal with social security, taxes on the “wealthy”, etc, but that is conversation for another day!

This Coalition was formed in 1994 during the 104 Congress so that the more conservative Democrats in Congress had a voice. Prior to their formation the more liberal part of the Democratic party would “choke them blue” and their views would largely go unheard.
At present, the Blue Dog Democrats have a coalition of 37 Blue Dogs actively in Congress.

So, you ask, what’s a Yellow Dog Democrat? Well, the term first came about in 1928 when Senator Heflin from Alabama refused to back the Democratic candidate for President, instead backing Herbert Hoover, who went on to be president. Senator Heflin’s fellow Democrats and Alabamians were furious with him for crossing party lines at that time and stated, “I’d vote for a yellow dog if he ran on the Democratic ticket” and thus, the “Yellow Dog” was born! The Yellow Dog term, today, is used as an expression of praise and regard for the loyalty the Yellow Dog has to their party.

So, we have the Blue Dog, Yellow Dog, and just Old Fashioned Democrats which, although have differing political views on certain issues, are patriots and great Americans! These are Democrats willing to work in bi-partisan ways to help further the greatness of our Country.

Okay, I hear the big question now..……..WHY do I, as a conservative, care about the Democratic Party and it’s history enough to write about it? Well, the answer is simple. There is a “new breed” of democrat attempting to rise to the “ranks” and take over a well established and honored party…..attempting to turn it into a far-left radical group that has no respect for our security, our constitution or our sovereignty as Nation. I felt that it was important for the reader to recognize the traditional Democrat from this “new breed” of radical left extremists. Part Two will be a must read…and an eye opener for all.

NOW WHAT?

Well, the election is over...almost!! With heavy heart I watched as the Dems slowly crept up and took over the House! As they needed fewer and fewer seats I paced, I screamed at my tv, I thought...this CANNOT be happening! After midnight I finally went to bed, hoping that I would wake up and realize I had just been in the middle of a nightmare and none of what I "thought" I saw the previous evening was real!! But, alas, it WAS REAL and so I feel we are now in the middle of a two year nightmare that we cannot escape from!!

What now? Well, let's look at something...Congress (House) basically is in control of all "legislative powers" in the government and basically holds the "purse strings"! They are responsible for maintaining our military, declaring war, regulating interstate and foreign commerce, and control federal taxing and spending!! The constitution also allows the Congress to "make all laws which shall be necessary and proper" along with a rarely used power to amend the constitution!!

If the above doesn't scare you, it definitely should! MOST of the Democrats that are in power today are not the typical democrat, they are far left social progressive Democrats (the FLLD's - Far Left Leaning Democrat) or more to the point...Howard Dean Democrats..the Deaniacs! THESE type of people are dangerous to our country and it's security!!!

Luckily, Congress is elected every two years and therefore we must be very vigilant to make sure that our country is not being given away, taken away and/or left unprotected!!! Stay on top of this folks...keep watch and let's keep demanding our representatives work for the best interest of the United States of America and the US Citizens!!!

NOV. 7 - OUR COUNTRY'S FUTURE

Well, we are almost there...the day that will affect our country's future! To say I am a bit unnerved is putting it mildly......I grab a drink and turn on Michael Savage, hoping to hear a little bit of sanity!

This has got to be one of the hottest and closest mid term elections that I remember. Will the disappointment in our current adminstration keep those die-hard conservatives from the polls? Will the new "breed" of Democrats be able to pull off taking the House and/or the Senate?

WAKE UP CONSERVATIVES...WAKE UP INDEPENDENTS!!!! We MUST protect our country and only YOUR VOTE against the far left will allow us to achieve that goal!!

The Democratic Party has been taken over by the far, far left! Some of the far left are Nancy Pelosi, Howard Dean, John Kerry, Barbara Boxer,
Ted Kennedy, Hillary Clinton, John Murtha, etc. THESE are the far left types that we MUST be protected from!!

One of Pelosi’s most shocking votes was against consideration of appropriations for intelligence and intelligence-related activities in fiscal year 2007 ....She even voted against the bill sponsored by our current Speaker Denny Hastert adopting the recommendations of the 9/11 Commission! In Pelosi’s world – which will turn into nightmarish reality if she becomes the next Speaker of the House – the privacy rights of terrorist suspects and their friends under surveillance would trump our right to be protected against the execution of their murderous plans.

Pelosi was given a 100 percent rating for supporting the interests of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) in 2005.......there have been credible reports of CAIR's post-9/11 ties to terrorist groups, including funding of terrorist front groups. Moreover, a number of CAIR officials have been convicted of, or pleaded guilty to, offenses related to the support of Islamist terrorism. Pelosi’s full-fledged support of terrorist suspects’ civil liberties comports very nicely with CAIR’s needs at the moment.

Pelosi voted against the REAL ID Act of 2005, which was aimed at stiffening federal laws to protect against terrorists’ entry to the country and their abuse of the state driver's license process to obtain false identification. Her alternative has been to push acceptance of a dubious ID card issued by the Mexican consulates for aliens crossing over our border called the “matricula consular.” The problem with those cards is that they provide the perfect cover for terrorists and common criminals alike seeking to enter our country......

In spite of such evidence detailing how these cards are being abused and placing the security of the American people at risk, Pelosi has continued to promote them.

Pelosi has also supported outright amnesty for illegal workers, including granting citizenship status to 500,000 illegal workers in the agriculture industry. Indeed, Nancy Pelosi has a special affection for illegal aliens, no doubt thinking how liberalized entry for poor migrant workers could help in staffing the non-union vineyards that Pelosi and her multi-millionaire husband own in Napa Valley.

Beyond giving free passes to terrorists and other aliens seeking to enter our country illegally and establish an identity here, Pelosi has consistently opposed a strong military. She voted NO on a measure to protect U.S. citizens, including our soldiers, from being arbitrarily arrested and brought before the unaccountable UN-sponsored International Criminal Court for a kangaroo trial. ..In recognition of that vote....she received a 2006 rating of A+ (with additional extra credit, no less) from the Citizens for Global Solutions, an ultra-left organization which advocates one-world government.

THAT...THAT is what the NEW DEMOCRAT is about!! The New Democrats, the FLLDs (Far Left Leaning Democrats) are in consortium with the likes of MoveOn.org, George Soros, and Michael Moore, to name a few! Can we really afford to have our country taken over by people that want to give our country away?

So please, go VOTE...it is not only your right but your duty as an American citizen...and VOTE TO PROTECT OUR COUNTRY and do not allow it to be taken over by the far left democrats!!

After numerous discussion on a "board" I belong to, and a rather spirited response to my Kerry thread, I decided to talk about the Far Left Liberal Democrat, which I "lovingly" refer to by the initials FLLD.

If anyone has had much interaction with an FLLD, especially in writing, it is very easy to "pick them out" in a crowd!! They are usually the ones that rant and rave with nothing useful to say or add to a conversation! They get so frustrated in their lack of ability to debate they begin with the name-calling...neocons and republican hacks, to name a few! Conservatives are accused of "lie and smear tatics" known for the GOP party! THEN...when we again show the FLLDs how their rantings make absolutely NO SENSE...we are called dumbo, moron, stupid, and the list goes on!

It is quite comical really! They fit into a perfect "jello" mold...I can see the mold factory now...pour in the mild normal person, let it set with constant rantings of the likes of Pelosi and Dean, then pop out of the mold and what do you have? Little FLLDs running around TRYING to act like they have common sense!!!

Please do not get the FLLDs confused with a normal Democrat! They are TWO different types in my opinion. I know some wonderful Democrats, and while my conservative views may differ somewhat on certain issues, we basically have the same philosphy on the greatness of our Country and our right to protect our Country. The normal Democrat is one with whom you can disagree with, debate with, have an intelligent conversation with, and hopefully come up with compromising solutions for problems with!! Unfortunately, the normal Democrat is slowly being taken over by the FLLDs, the values they hold dear are being distorted by the far left, the country we all so love is being ruined by this same far left group!!

That is why it is vital that WE (the conversatives and normal Democrats) fight together to show the ugly truths of the FLLDs while they, in their own right, continue to show their true colors!!

KERRY INSULTS OUR TROOPS

Well, Kerry strikes again!! In an attempt to make a so called "joke" about our President he has instead insulted not only our troops, but veterans around the world that have been a part of protecting our country!!!

Isn't this the SAME John Kerry that rubbed shoulders with "Hanoi Jane" in the Vietnam era and testified at the US Senate Committee on Foreign Relations in 1971 that called our US soldiers murderers and baby killers!!????

In my opinion, John Kerry is despicable!!! He never deserved to wear the uniform of a military officer and his military service, by his OWN actions, has been tarnished!!! Fortunately, when he rots in hell the brave men and women who have served our country will not have to spend eternity with him!!!

Do I sound mad....you're damn right I am....I am sick to death of our military soldiers being put down by the likes of him!! Many have given their lives for his right to be stupid and it makes me want to puke!!!! "Hanoi Jane and John" should move to Vietnam where I'm sure they will be welcome with open arms....or even move to Iraq where they can continue with their propaganda that supports terrorism!!! Well, the last day of October has finally arrived! The air is brisk and the wind blowing...it is definitely a fall day! Little ghosts and goblins, pirates and princesses are all excited...they look forward to "trick-or-treating" hoping to bring home a bag full of candy which they hoard as their secret "treasure"!

But are our kids today really able to enjoy the "Halloween of Old"? The answer to this is "no"! Looking back to my childhood Halloween was great fun...friends got together and we went to the school carnival all dressed up and participated in cake walks, dunk the teacher, holding hands as we went thru a "haunted house"! We went door to door, ringing doorbells and hollaring "trick-or-treat", holding out our bag for the goodies sure to come. I remember our favorite house was a little old widow woman who always made special treats for the kids..homemade brownies, carmel corn, and candied apples! How many times did we keep going back to that house...those treats were great!! We were all given a curfew to be home by but heaven forbid that our parents would tag along on our adventures that night! The only mischief that may have occurred was a raw egg was thrown at someone (NOT something) or a house was toilet papered...although the neighborhood jumped in to help clean it up!! What a world we lived in back then..........

Our parents did not worry about poison laced brownies, or razor blades inside of apples....they did not worry about shootings or knifings...they did not worry about someone forcing us into a car, about disappearance or molestations of their children! We were allowed to be kids...we had fun, but we also obeyed the rules that were set down from our parents.

In today's society, however, we cannot allow our children to do the things that we did as kids...to enjoy that little bit of freedom without a constant threat hanging over our heads and theirs. We cannot allow them to eat the homemade goodies that we looked so forward to receiving when I was a kid...hospitals are now set up to x-ray candy for goodness sakes!! What has our society turned into?

It is great to see the malls and churches getting involved and having somewhere that parents can bring their kids to have fun...the mall allow "trick-or-treating" at the individual stores and many groups have activities for the kids to enjoy, the churches play bob for apples, tell stories and have activities! And as great as that is, my heart is still heavy for "Halloween of Old"...where kids could be kids without fear!

We need to reflect back, not just because of Halloween, but because our society has been corrupted...how and why did this all happen? How can we change it? Thoughts to ponder for another day......another post....but until then...

8 MORE DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY

Early voting will be winding down soon and we wait expectantly for election day. Many of us will be up throughout the night, watching the results...hoping against hope that the candidate of our choice has "pulled it off"!

I have always voted...I feel that not only is it a privilege and a right as a citizen, but that it is also my duty as a citizen of this country to make my voice heard and help keep my country moving forward! Never do I remember a midterm election being as "hot" as it is this year, not just in the area that I live but all over our country.

The House and Senate are now "up for grabs" and it frightens me to death! I, like so many, have been very disappointed with the Republicans, and yes, even our President who I voted for twice!! Even with that disappointment, I could not see myself voting against the Republican Party as the "horror show" that played out in my mind if the Democrats gained control of the House or the Senate overcame that disappointment, even if momentarily!!

I've heard people say, "We'll show THEM....vote everyone out!" And I will admit, remorsefully, that was my first thought, too. BUT then a shiver went thru my body and my brain almost exploded at the thought of Nancy Pelosi, CA Congresswoman, even coming near being the House Majority Leader and therefore third in line for the White House!! I mean, it almost made me ill!! She is part of the "Deaniac" group that are so far left as to be off the map! That, in an of itself, should scare the pants off everyone and overcome their dissapointment with the Republicans!!

I will admit, too, that I voted for some excellent Democrats for some State positions that they would do wonderfully in! They are good men and really have the heart and spirit of wanting to serve our state and its people! I even voted for Kinky for governor!! He is a breathe of fresh air and the other three candidates are really not worth much, in my humble opinion.

I read an article the other day by Linda Chavez, (ex-liberal turned conversative) who made some excellent points in her "Holding My Nose and Voting Republican" article. I hope that you take time to really read what she has to say...even through her disappointment with the Republican party it is vital that we are careful on who we put into office. Here are a some snipets from her article of WHY NOT DEMOCRATS:

The fact is I don't trust the Democratic Party to lead this country in a time of
uncertainty and war. While the Democrats say they want to refocus the nation's
energy on the war on terror, they've demonstrated time and again that they
oppose the most effective means of fighting terrorism.

Democrats would interfere with the National Security Agency's ability to intercept communications between terrorists abroad and their agents in the United States.

Democrats have offered no clear plan except to leave Iraq as quickly as possible, regardless of the consequences.

Democrats like carrots a lot better than sticks and are more concerned with "world opinion" than American interests.

Democrats always want to raise taxes in order to pay for social programs, transferring money out of the hands of ordinary people and turning it over to bureaucrats.

Democrats seem to want to punish businesses rather than encourage the creation of more wealth. And they have a nasty propensity toencourage envy and class warfare, which benefits no one.

So my hope is that people will really see what the candidates are about.... research, look at previous voting records (immigration, securing our borders, taxes, etc), compare the candidates and their stance on the issues, their philosophies, talk to friends, etc. Don't just watch a TV ad and listen to what they want you to hear!! And above all....PLEASE GO VOTE!!!!

Who Am I?

That's a good question....who am I....wanting to write a blog, share my thoughts with the world, putting a stamp on a small portion of this universe! Well, first and foremost, I am a wife who has been lucky enough to find a loving and respectful man that shares my faith, my ideals, and my world. I am a mother, who has a grown daughter and now is happily is the "mom" of 4-legged critters that I deeply adore and love! I am a neighbor and a friend to many that live close to me and those that live far....we share a bond of heart and spirit!

I am also a conservative.....in my thoughts, my values in life, my feelings of right/wrong. And in looking at the world around me I am troubled by the turmoil that we face not only in my state and neigborhood, but in our Country. Does one voice count? You bet it does, because one voice will turn to two, will turn to three and so on and so on.....!

So thus, this blog (and many thanks to a dear friend who encouraged me to do this)!! I want to make a difference, I want my voice to be heard, I want to help teach those that may read my entries, and interact with those that agree or disagree with my positions. I have always been told that "one voice makes a difference" and so let's continue on............
